I'm actually pretty sure it was a part of the pig tail XD. I have everything in chunks, the wings I cut into thirds and the pig tail is cut into inch long pieces. I haven't been able to find any chicken bones laying around the house so I'm fairly certain they're getting eaten as well.

Oh wow! Do you think everyone is giving it a try?
Could you post a week's menu of what they're currently eating just so I can see in one spot where you're at?

I certainly hope so although I haven't seen everyone eating them. So far I've caught Toby and Ada but Ellie and Penny have been doing a lot of stashing.
Every day twice a day they've been getting 4 Nature's Variety medallions, about an equal portion of whatever I have defrosted (either pork or chicken chunks) and now in the past few days I've been including the cut up chicken wings and pig tails. The chunks and bony bits have been getting eaten first and they've been leaving the NV for last. I think they're starting to like the chewy bits more. ^^<3
(For treats they've been getting chicken gizzard and beef heart jerky. I still have a few stubborn ones that won't eat the jerky but I'm working with them, having them lick Vivify emu oil off of the jerky every morning. Ellie is almost there I think but Ollie and Toby are being stubborn. Everyone else will eat at least one of the jerkies, beef heart being everyone's favorite.)
I've been bad with offering organ meats though... I haven't found any good ones recently.. I really need to get to Zuppardo's where they often have a variety of organ meats.

Ah. Good. Work on getting some organs going.
Poops all okay?

Poops mostly okay, some are slighty seedy but that's probably from them still getting used to the more complex food, right?

Yeah that's just a bit of malabsorption. My Fierra still gets that when I feed something too fatty.

(Sorry about the slowness, Valentine's, Mardi Gras, my husband's birthday, and him going out of town for two weeks all happened.. in the last two weeks. XP) That's a really great thing you did, she's very pretty. Charlie has put on so much weight in just two weeks, he's a real chunker now. I really think it was the raw diet. He started lapping up the Nature's Variety almost right away and I've seen him eating chunks of meat as well. The grocery finally had beef hearts in again so I plan on spending tonight cutting up half and grinding the other with some calf liver. They couldn't give me a guess on his age but from looking at his teeth I doubt he's much older than a year. His teeth are perfect and completely opaque.

Isn't it just amazing how quickly they can rebound? I was shocked when Katrinka gained two ounces in just a week. Now she's up 6-8 ounces from her starting weight and she's definitely slowed down on how much she wants to eat each day. I posted new photos of her today: holisticferret.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ferretpic&thread=4704She's a big girl! Where are you at with your crew? It's been so long since we've talked. Could you give me a sample menu of what they're currently eating and who seems to be eating what?

They're all eating just about everything I'm offering. Bone-in chicken wings, legs, breasts, and pork chops make up most of their diet. I've also been giving them about 8 NV medallions a day. Hopefully tonight I'll be able to grind and chop up those beef hearts as well as the calf liver.

Very nice! How do you think you're doing with your ratios of meat:bone:organ?
