Hey what do you guys think of the large cat toys like hideaways..except the ones I found were made of a type of pvc piping with several hidaway holes (and thinner material not like carpet), toys, and one even has a little hammock? I found them at walmart and wasn't sure if posting them was against the forum rules on ferret.com forums..here is an example, but they're less expensive then this one and much cuter! www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8110816Man..I tried looking for it on walmart.com and can't find em..anywho theres a pirate ship one, a corner hideway, and circle one with tons of hideaway holes and then one with a hammock and two hideaway holes. Think a fuzzie would like something like this? or am I jumping gun and should wait til I get my little guy? lol I can't help it everytime I go to the store and look at pet supplies I think of what I could stock up on next lol

You can post products, websites, links, and other forums. All are allowed on my forum That actually looks like a good product! It doesnt look too expensive. Just be aware that sometimes you'll shell out a ton of money for toys and then they'll wind up playing in the bag, haha! But that actually looks like a toy that my ferts would use. I'd buy it.

um...$12, maybe $16? At my walmart they now have a tropical one as well, with a parrot on the 'sail'. The little dangly toy is and anchor, lol. I've been eyeballing the other ones meli posted about, but I'll have to wait for now. Look at walmart by the cat stuff

Yes, I think a ferret would have fun with it. I want the roundabout one, or whatever its called. I like the corner one, too

Oh - and it's pretty sturdy, too. My kitten will drag it around by the "anchor" (dangly toy) and tears at it constantly. The dogs jump all over it, my son climbs in it as far as he can get. It's never in the same place for long, usually ends up on it's side. I've had it for a couple months and it's still holding up well! I think it will last a very long time if it's just used for ferrets!!

whenever i bring home something like that the ferrets look at it--walk around it--one or two might climb it but thats it they prefer their boxes and tubes.

I bought them a ferret nation and they spend more time playing, sleeping, and snuggling in the box that the cage came in then they do in the cage itself

Just becareful with those toys inside the playpen. The are great at making it easier for the fuzzy to get out of the playpen. I have the tall corner one and Toby was able to climb to the top and then shift over the top of the playpen.
He played and slept in it for about a week before learning to get out using it. I now use it as a toy when hes out free roaming. I really liked it as something different for him to play with.

What a sneaky little fella I'd put it in the middle..or when he/she is free roaming. Its cool to see many people use the large cat centers for their ferts.
