I am... just broken. I haven't been posting here much, I know, but I thought you guys might be able to help me. My fiance has developed a brain condition and had to have a medical device implanted, and due to the device is doctor has said the ferrets cannot stay, since they poop in litter boxes in the house instead of outside. We are probably going to have to rehome our cats too.
I'm heartbroken. My pets are my babies, and this is KILLING me. I nearly crashed my car this morning crying, I had to pull over. I just need a good home for my babies. If anyone can help, I would so appreciate it.
Name of ferret(s): Vivi Raviolli, Freya Noodle, Roscoe Jenkins, Calvin
Age(s) of ferret(s): Unknown, two, one, and one
Color of ferret(s): Raviolli and Noodle are white, Roscoe is chocolate and Calvin dark sable
Any known medical problems?: Roscoe tore his ACL last year in the right hind, but it has healed.
Current food your ferret(s) are eating: Primal or Stella and Chewy's raw in the morning, chicken parts at night
When was the date of your ferret's last a.) rabies shot b.) distemper shot? Both last year. I only do kit shots and then leave them, as they're not outdoor ferrets and I consider vaccination risks too high.
How is your ferret(s) around: a.) cats b.) dogs c.) children Totally fine with cats and dogs. Freya lived with children before I got her and was fine, the other three have never been around children.
Does/do your ferret(s) have biting issues? Calvin was a biter when we got him, but he hasn't so much as nipped in months.
Is/are your ferret(s) litter box trained? In the cage? Outside the cage? 50/50 in the cage. I don't use litter boxes outside, I put puppy pads in the corners they like and that works fine.
Why are you rehoming your ferret(s)? Medical reasons
What is your adoption fee? $75
What does your adoption fee include: Ferret Nation, bedding, food, litter, cage toys, treats, fish oil, dig box, climbing tube toy, plastic tunnel toys, carpeted tower, bowls
Are you willing to drive to a potential adopter's home, or is the ferret(s) for pick-up only? Either, as long as it is close. My car does not drive very well.
Please post a picture or two of your ferret
