Kosmo's new Buddy RC going raw!

Another ferret ventures into the realm of raw! Spotted RC tonight toting around a stashed prize - a cornish hen leg or chicken wing - couldn't make it out as he ducked into a tunnel where I heard the familiar crack and crunch and smack and chomp of a ferret gnawing on a raw morsel!

Nakita has ventured into the whole prey realm whole heartedly and Flower continues to tote and stash whole prey items. Haven't spied her chowing down on them yet - but she is touching them and very intently watches Nakita as she eats them!

DaVinci turns his nose up at the raw and prey but is a totally different ferret since he's been eating supreme quality ferret kibbles (no grains - low carb, meat protein, high fat).

I have faith - he'll take the plunge eventually! AS I write this I can hear the satisfying smack and chomp of ferrets devouring gizzards!

RC seemed pleased with his prize - and I was pleased to see him eating it!

HAving RC as a friend has helped bring Kosmo out of his depression - he is eating on his own, has decidedly told RC he is boss and since he isn't living on soup anymore - his gum health has improved! Now to get him back onto the raw program too.

Great stuff. It's a whole total feeling of satisfaction when you see these little fuzzies eat as they're meant to. Not only eat but enjoy being what they were designed to be. I'm sure that you will convince DaVinci ultimately.
It's also very satisfying to see new friendships form, especially when grief has threatened the actual survival of one. I'm glad that this has worked out to the benefits of both parties

Oh that is excellent news, Kim Have to admit- I was worried about how Kosmo was reacting to losing Mimsy. Glad to know he's back into the swing of things again!
