That is way too cool for them! Mine are so jealous- we can't have an outdoor play area because we live in a town house complex. Against the rules

I love the fact that they've posted pics of the construction. It offers some really interesting ideas into the whole construction part of it. We're hoping to expand our play area (actually going to create 2 separate play areas that will be accessed by tunnels (these will be arbours over the pathway). The biggest thing is trying to design an access that will allow them to go out to play at any time of the year. Right now because of how the ferret door is set in the garden screen door, they can only access during the warmer days in the spring and summer and of course at all times during the summer. ciao

Dianne and Tony spent about two years working on it. Funding was a big part but they eventually pulled it together.. I told her the sad part.. the ferrets wont want to leave LOL Here's the other thing: Dianne feeds ALL of the shelter kids prey. They are some prey eating heathens. That's actually how she calls them in from play in the evening. ps... I have two of her boys Kegan is my whole prey eater and Goliath (who won't touch that nasty stuff).

How wonderful! I am so happy for those shelter ferts. They have this wonderful area to play and romp in. They really need it.

Very cool! One day when I upgrade to a house (with a decent yard) of my own, this is something that would be awesome to look into... Just fencing in the whole yard like this if possible. LOL.

We are looking into a place next year, if we get it we will have to setup something like that for our ferrets. Hubby says we get our own place I can have as many snakes and ferrets as I want. LOL he better be careful about that!

LOL he better be careful about that! THAT is a very dangerous thing to say! I like those rules - ...can I move in?
