Wow! That's gorgeous! My Dad and I went to Tandy's leather the other day to get some snaps and grommets for hammocks. I'm ok with the fabric, but your skill is amazing. The best I can do with leather is punch an extra hole or two in stirrup leathers. Maybe you should think about an Etsy account. Is that the collar you were working on in an earlier thread? If so it turned out lovely.

Looks great! I like it better without the collar though. Awesome job! The color is nice, it compliments his eyes.

Thank you both ;D Wow! I usually get all my leather supplies from Tandy too. There is a store near me so its easy to get to, they always have what I need and their products are great quality. Hmm.. anyone here have an Etsy account? Do you get much buisness on there? And how much does it cost to host your products on there? Yes, I made a thread in the "Odds and ends" section when I made my first collar. It shows the whole progress from start to finish ;D hurricanekatt- I like it better without a collar too. Bailey hardly ever wears I collar, he doesnt need one. I just put it on him to show both of the things I made for him. I am in the process right now of making him another collar to match his harness

I have an Etsy account I buy from and have been thinking about setting up a shop. Their fees are really reasonable (I think). The listing fee is $0.20/item and the listing is good for 4 months. When the item sells, they take a comission of 3.5%.
So if you sold a harnes for $10 (and I'm sure they'd sell for much more), you would only pay them $0.55.
They have a weekly newsletter about establishing your storefront, driving business to it, deciding on how to price your items . . . great stuff. I signed-up for this and am working on potential shop inventory, so I can decide if I want to go ahead and set-up shop on-line.
Harnesses similar to what you made sell for about $60, and since you have that great skill to personalize them (or collars, or leashes, or, or . . . ), you can also do their "Alchemy" thing where you do custom orders (a good way to charge more!)
