Hi everybody! I'm Kirstin. I'm 23, live in Bend, OR, and just graduated with a degree in Animal Behavior. Woohoo! Why am I here? Because I want my babies to eat raw meat, of course! My babies: (well, they are my boyfriend's babies as well, hehe) Sprout: Big silver RCF girl. She's almost a year old and weighs in over 2 lbs. VERY smart, also deaf as a doornail. Her favorite thing to do is knock over water glasses and bottles and snorkel. When water isn't around, she'll climb up as high as she can and knock stuff off shelves, tables etc. I think she just likes to watch it fall She is best friends with and Aussie Shepard. They're great together! She loves walks but hates her leash. Bug: 11 week old Marshalls male. Typical sable color. He's just developing his personality (when we got him he was just a fuzzy little thing that crawled around. It took him a while to figure out he can go UP). He loves anything with dairy (found this out when he sniffed our plates and went BALISTIC at the smell of cheese. I have never seen a ferret spaz out so much about food). He likes chasing socked feet, but with some discipline he's not doing that as much now He also loves the Aussie dog. Sprout is also pictured in my Avatar with Obie, who sadly passed in early December. I also have a leopard gecko I've had since middle school, and 3 cichlids. So Hi everyone! Good to meet you (or soon). Bug is going to be really easy to switch to raw, but I'm sure I'll need help with Sprout.

Hello, and welcome! Glad to see you want to get your fuzzums on a more natural diet. Please feel free to browse, and ask questions! Check out the nutrition section, mentoring threads, and archives. I see you've already signed up for a mentor! That's great

Hi and welcome, Kirstin. A special welcome and hug to Sprout and Bug. I will second sherrylynne, please check out our nutritional section, and have a look at our mentoring program, especially if you think that you might benefit from some one on one work to help get your little ones to switch. Bug should be an easy one, and your little girl is just a year so she shouldn't be that difficult either (depends on her stubborn personality ) I hope that I will be seeing you and your little fuzzbutts around ciao
