Hi all, I'm Alicia from Athens GA and I've been the proud owner of a female kit for less than 24 hours! I can't even decide on a name yet, but I've definitely done a lot of reading so hopefully I won't be too overwhelmed. Of course, this little girl is about 4 months old and only interested in damp Marshall's food (courtesy of the petstore) but I'm very interested in getting her off that crap and onto (hopefully) whole prey. Any thoughts about that transition would be amazingly helpful! I don't know if I should slowly switch out from evo to wysong or what. In any event, thanks so much for this amazing resource.

Hi Alicia, and welcome to Holistic Ferrets Congrats on the new furbaby, I'll bet she's a sweetie! At her age it shouldn't be too difficult to switch her diet. Either ask in the nutritional section, and/or sign up for a mentor for more one on one help! Please- feel free to browse, ask questions, and join in on the discussions underway

Congratulations on your little fertbaby A name will come, I find that the personality is what assists in the choosing....at least for me Please feel free to prowl the site, check out the various sections. Take special notice of our nutritional sections. Read through the various threads and please ask questions. The information can be overwhelming and sometimes rather donting but don't let it get you down. Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help you out. If you want one on one assistance please sign up for a mentor. Your little one, because of her age, shouldn't be too difficult to switch...they're really good at trying things and enjoy sinking their teeth into just about anything you offer them Good luck, I hope that I will be seeing you and your little one around. Please....some pictures of your little one would be enjoyed by all ciao
