Yea. She is slowly getting there. I actually got her to eat a few licks straight from the bowl this morning. Made me swell up all happily. :3

Tonight was a good night! She say in my lap and combination licked from the bowl/spoon licked almost the entire bowl of soup! She then immediately leapt from my lap, ran to the corner, and pooped. XD Besides being a little loose, it looked ok. Fairly uniform in color, and a good shape.

oh that is excellent! Sounds like she might be starting to finally realize "This stuff really is food!"

Today was not as good of a day. She didn't eat as much soup, but I threw in a small handful of kibble to sop up the rest of the soup, and she ate a good bit of that.

So I've turned feeding Citrus into a game. Sure, she can have her kibble, but she has got to fish it off of the bottom of her bowl of turkey soup first. XD She usually winds up with two or three mouthfuls of soup before she finally gets the piece of kibble. It's cute, and it's seemingly effective.

If that's what it takes- why not?

That's what I'm figuring. She ate a good bit of her soup, and not a whole lot of kibble tonight.

The silly face ate almost all of her soupies today, and actually very little kibble. I made me happy to watch her dig around in the bowl lapping up the soup in her quest for a kibble chunk.

Not only did the little one eat all of her food, but she did it all by herself, and I used less than a handful of kibble to get her to do so!

Wonderful news! She's going great guns, isn't she?

She keeps going back and forth. Some days she eats amazingly, and others I have to force it down her throat. She's starting to round out a little bit though. A small layer of fat is growing over her ribs, and though they are still sticking out fairly severely, they are getting better.

Are you alternating her meats? Either she could be saying "I'm tired of the same thing", or "I don't like this particular meat today" That's great that she's putting on some weight, too!

I am a little bit. I've switched from turkey back to chicken, which she seems to like a lot better.

Be really careful with feeding too much of one meat for too long. They can imprint on that as well! Besides being nutritionally unsound as well

It sounds like you are over the hump there. I do think it'd be wise to start incorporating some other flavors into the diet, or she will imprint! And that's just as much of an issue as it is with kibble!
