Hey y'all, i'm jessy!
I know Vicki from the lazy hammock ferret forum and she convinced me to try raw, so i came here!
I am currently living on a state park in south carolina called Hunting Island and i'm working as an assistant naturalist/park ranger. i adore my job. in the winter time i work on displays in the nature center and in the summer i play with sea turtles!
in 6 days (eek!) i'm packing up and moving to sunny daytona beach florida to go back to school. i want to get my degree so i can make my career in the park service!
I am a complete and total beach bum. i cant surf, im but i'm learning. my favorite food is sushi and chinese and i'd rather eat with chopsticks than a fork and knife!

Tabitha is my himilyian dumbo rat. she's my first rat and she doesnt listen to a word i say. she is a master escape artist and always seems to find her way into the treat drawer.
Buck is my big hooded dumbo boy, i think he is a little... slow. if he were human he'd be the dumb football jock but i love him! he chews anything and everything he can get his mouth on and he is in love with food! he is my cuddle bug and likes to curl up on my feet to sleep
Alton is my rescue and my loner. his brother died suddenly and since then Alton doesnt like other rats. thats ok, he loves people and he is an avid shoulder rider. he only bruxs and boggles when he is sitting on a table staring at me.
Chewey is my baby! i love him to pieces. he is a rescue and i am his 5th and final home! He was in a home with a lot of cats that batted him around like a play thing and owners who didnt understand his needs. it seems he's a lot happier now with me! he loves to take long walks on the beach
, getting loved on by the people at petsmart, and generally get under foot whenever its play time. He doesnt like other ferrets and he doesnt like to play with any normal toys. his favorite toys are buckets, flip flops and plastic bags 
Torti is my 6 year old red ear slider, i've had her for 4 years. she is spoiled in a huge tank with lots of water and an above the tank basking area. she's a mean b*tch and loves to bite, but she's fun to watch swim around.
