Greetings! I have used and fed the Oma's pride freeze dried patties for our dogs and wondering if anyone has used them for feeding their carpet sharks? Here is a link to the website: www.omaspride.com/products.htmI would love any feedback - or information you might be able to share. I would like to place an order to try a few things for them but not certain what to order... Best Regards, Rachelle

I just glanced really quickly at the products, and they do have a lot of veggies in them. I dont think I'd be comfortable feeding it with 20% veggies. I use Stella and Chewys, which have 4% veggies, and Animal Food Services aka Nature's Advantage (beef version of AFS) which have some products that are ALL meat, bone and organs and no veggies. These comes in both small and large freeze dried disks, and niblets, which are smaller pieces that can be pour in the dish like kibble. Stella and Chewys and AFS also both come in frozen raw as well, and i believe are a little cheaper than Omas Pride.

No- at 20% veg. matter, I definitely wouldn't be using it for the ferrets. It just winds up in the litter box! They definitely CAN use some veg. matter, to replace the indigestibles they'd normally get with whole prey, but not very much at all. The 4% sounds about right.

Casey's Hidden Pantry offers many of the foods that ls84 mentions. They also have a sampler package so you can try a few things without buying an entire bag (who knows what your fuzzy will like)
