Oh awesome! Actually I use keychain hooks and rings. You can get them in the crafting isle in walmart. The ferrets can't break them and their sturdy. Isn't it fun to make!?
By the way I wash my set and dried it on the delicate setting. It came back out wonderful!

I'll have to look for them on Friday then. It was a lot of fun and even more so because the kids could help me too (furless ones I mean, lol). Good to know about the washable part too, Thanks Meli!!!

That looks so cute and easy. Can you post pictures of every individual item you made? I just ordered a custom FN bedding set from creations by Angie and it will be here by July. That would be a great thing to know how to do. You could also start yourself a small little business out of it on ebay or something. Great job.

I have pictures of my sets. Once I make my cubby set I'll provide a step by step as well as the different peices. Its very easy and again a lot of fun because its homemade. They hold up very well in the wash and dryer( but again on low setting). My guys love the blankets I've made them and they've been sleeping in the hammocks.

So the cubby material was a little on the expensive side so I went and got some white fleece and some blue and white polka dot fleece, 2 yards each. I'm going to make a big set. When I'm done I'll post some pictures I'm excited!

When I'm done I'll post some pictures I'm excited! I guess this is what I need to do too. My little hammocks are too itty bitty for my overwhelming 9. And yes....they love to sleep together for the most part in one large ferrety pile! I would probably need to purchase the whole bolt of material, though.

lol I forgot you had so many lol you need like oversized hammocks I'm thinking about stringing bed sheets from one corner of the cage to the next. That might give them enough room!

Their new set is almost complete. I put it up in their cage today. It looks so cute. I made them a HUGE cube. It came out awesome! I'll take some pictures today of everything I made so far. I'm not done yet.

Meli, you'd be proud of me. I have tried my hand at making new sew hammocks...and I kept all my fingers! I made mine long enough to stretch to both ends of the ferret nation. It is 36 inches long, 24 wide. I actually made two! No staples, glue, or tape! It is cute...a camo frog design, that my ferrets won't appreciate!
