Hoppers are mice right after they open their eyes. They hop around like popcorn

I got a small beef tounge on sale yesterday.
Yesterday the ferrets got beef tounge along with their cubes.
Today they will probably only get beef tounge.

beef tongue?? I don't believe I've ever seen that. Would that count as an organ or just a treat??

It's the same as boneless beef really, It's a really lean muscle.
The area that you're in may not have a very good "odd meat" selection. My area is multiculture so the stores here tend to have better stuff. The good stuff is at Food Lion, the tounge was $1.74 a pound and costed $1.48... A also got some pigs feet for $1.80 a tray, there are 12 of them but they are for humans to eat.

The ferrets and pups all got buffalo, turkey and liver... Ravi did get steak though, there wasn't enough of the other stuff thawed out.

Today was leftover hoppers day. Tomorrow is chicken chunk day. If they are very good, the following day will be chick-a-peeps. I get the variety in over several days. annb.
