Hurricanekatt, I personally love swheat scoop, but some don't. It's not really dusty (yesterday's new still has less dust than swheat scoop, but it's barely noticeable). The only bad thing is ferrets love the texture so much that they dig in it every time I put fresh litter in there once a week, so it scatters everywhere. If you have a fairly high sided litter box, it's not so much a problem. I also suggest using litter box liners with swheat scoop, because apparently it stick to litter boxes and is hard to get off. I don't know this for sure, but that's what some people have said in reviews. If you use liners, get a litter box that holds the liner down, like this one! ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41OVq7dDJWL._SL500_AA280_.jpg Or you can make your own like this! petprojectblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/rbbrlitterbox2.jpg but smaller. Just an idea. This is just what works for us and our ferrets.

Thanks! I will check it out, but after some research I think I am going to use Yesterday's News because it fits into my college student budget a little better!

I actually found I was spending more overall for the Yesterday's News than I do for World's Best. With the YN, I wound up tossing so much of the good litter with the bad, and now- I just scoop the waste, and that's it. With one ferret, you could quite likely get away with just using folded newspapers in the litter box you know
