I wouldn't blame you, Katt! Koda has a special way of getting himself into big messes and driving you to the brink of insanity!

I wouldn't blame you, Katt! Koda has a special way of getting himself into big messes and driving you to the brink of insanity! Tell me about it! I have run into more trouble with him than all of my pets combined almost! Though Tito my iguana definitely gave him a run for his money when she escaped! (see Other Pets section for pics haha). Why do I chose such difficult pets? ... ...When I was bad as a kid my Mom always told me to "just wait until you have kids, it will come back ten fold." Perhaps this is Karma. Maybe this will be enough karma that my future kids will be angels... Not with my luck! Anyways - sorry! Back to raw pics! I need to get some new ones of Koda chomping on meats in his new feeding den!

so what would happen if your ferret ate a mouse that was pregnant? would it be extra healthy? or just not do much.

depends on how far along the mouse was. if she was about to pop it would probably be "extra" but then again, not necessarily, because pinkies don't contain that much "goodness"

Here are some recent pics: Eating/fighting over a turkey neck: Eating a Pork hock: I got in a lot of trouble for post ONE of these pictures (the first one) among a plethora of other non-feeding ferret pictures of on The Lazy Hammock and got in trouble and one member keeps freaking out at me over the fact that she doesn't want to see raw meat on a ferret forum Kinda makes my head spin thinking that we keep CARNIVORES but can't handle the idea of feeding them meat.

Wow, seriously? That is pathetic! Some people are just ridiculous. I wonder if she eats meat herself? Your furr-faces look nice and happy and healthy. Great pics! I need to get more recent ones of Koda...

Thanks She acted as if I was FORCING my opinion onto her (and yes, she singled herself out that I was attacking her) and I was putting people down for feeding kibble (which I never did nor would I) and I was forcing people to look at my ONE picture of my ferrets mangling poor defenseless animals (THAT POOR TURKEY NECK!) Now, I posted this picture among a whole set of others (Maybe like 20) and I had the thread removed. I'm considering photoshopping the pictures to replace the meat with a squeaky toy or it's cooked equivalent version. lol

They'd probably have a heart attack if I showed them the picture of baby Maynard eating a jumbo sized rat that was the same size as him. It was pretty gory since he had a thing for decapitating whole prey. There we have a freaking adorable kit and then a decapitated rat the same size. That's good eatin' Anyway, my appearance on the forum made them add a completely new rule and a new sub forum. lol Go me

>:(And what is the new sub forum? Man, sounds like that person just has issues. Some people WANT to be singled out for the attention, so they make themselves feel convinced that they are, Whatever. It is pathetic, but some people aren't even worth the trouble. That is why I really like the ferret.com forum (though this will always be my number 1 ferret forum ). Kibble and Raw fed ferrets are all equally welcome and pics of both do appear. Any debates over raw feeding are polite and reasonable. A lot of members here are ferret.com members too. I am always trying to send people here and switch them to raw. hehe Perhaps you should tell her that you are offended by her kibble pictures? That they, quite obviously, are to single you out for being a raw feeder, and that you find pictures showing poor ferrets being fed crap kibble extremely offensive.

They made a raw sub-category and the rule is not to post pictures of ferrets eating raw so people don't "Stumble upon them".
