Mine do the same thing whenever I go to the counter to fix anything. They ALWAYS think it's meal time

My cat always thinks it's meal times, luckily the ferrets don't have access to the kitchen so I don't have six creatures climbing up my legs to get a taste; just one

You asked for it lol... several pictures of my lot from kit to adult from mince to whole prey... The hunters inspecting the spoils of the hunt....just after this shot they oddly all grabbed the one in the middle (a young doe) and headed toward the house lol Thyme digging into some much needed rabbit, taking a break from feeding her litter of kits kits tucking into a bowl of mince Very first dinner saddle of rabbit at 3 weeks old more of the same meal Enjoy!

Not a picture of Muddy eating, but of her leftovers. This vertebra was all that was left of her turkey neck dinner.

we're very lucky in that way here.. we actually get Paid to feed our ferrets the local rabbit population has exploded with the past few winters being very mild... and the farmers just cant stay on top of them... they ring us up almost every weekend asking when we can come out... generally we'll get anywhere between 15 and 30 rabbits per weekend morning .. half go in the freezer and the other half go to the butcher who pays us £1.50 per rabbit...

that is great for you and the ferrets and the farmers..it's a win/win/win situation!
