Late this morning I went to take Trouble out for her playtime. She was cold and mostly unresponsive, and wanted nothing to do with warm soup even after I put it on her tongue. At around 1:00 she passed, snuggled with Brent. He sat with her for hours. We both were home today because our wedding Saturday. I am so glad that we were there for her. I had not noticed anything out of the ordinary with her yesterday. She was about 8. my little girl.

Oh, Kerit! I am so sorry. It doesn't matter how old they are, it's never long enough. It's a good thing she got to pass with you both there.

I'm so sorry for the passing of your little Trouble Eight is really a good life for our fuzzies (poor wee things). I will light a candle for your little one, to guide her furry steps on to her next great adventure. She was so dearly loved and she will be so greatly missed. She's young again, you know, playing with the others who greeted her so warmly at the bridge. She now wrestles and chases in the fallen leaves, enjoying the dappled sunshine and the soft summer breezes. It's never cold, never winter always safe, never alone. She will stop in her playing, from time to time and listen to the wind, sniff and return to her play. The time isn't right, but it will be someday and then she will once again enjoy the hugs, gentle caresses and sweet kisses of her special people once more. Goodbye little Trouble....goodbye ciao

Rest in Peace Sweet Trouble. I am so sorry for your loss, Kerit. She was a good girl and I can tell you really cared for her deeply. You and your family will be in my thoughts.
