this is my fuzzies sleeping quaters, bio box, and tube to run through and play in.. the gates connencting the cage with the bio box i used blast gates so if i remove the bio for what ever reason i can close the gate and he is stuck in. his hammock is out at the time this picture was taken, in the wash and was running around in the office somewere. lol its not much but he seems to enjoy it, the bedding is newspaper that i have ran through a cross cut shreder and shaken hard to remove all loose dust from cutting it. works pretty well plus he has a ball bouncing around, and diging in it. lol any who any suggestins or idea to make it a better sleeping place from him would be great..

Great pic!
As for suggestions to make the cage "better" I would add a few more snuggly pieces of bedding. Cheap fleece blankets, inexpensive pet beds, things like that can all help to "spruce up" a ferret home. Some people dont like putting the paper in the cage, but I think if your fuzzie enjoys it, then theres no harm in it.
I would offer a hammock, a round pet pet to snuggle in, and a blanket that Murdoc can wrap himself up in, or a sleeping bag/pocket that he can curl up in.

yea, it looks empty atm. all of his bedding is in the wash. lol hammock that hangs right at the edge of the level and a blanket underneath that second level. and the paper he digs under it and will fall asleep and bounces, it can make a mess of the room but its fun for my fuzzie so i wil jsut keep a broom handy and the cost of the paper is great compared to the store bought stuff, lol i get a sunday paper and run it through the shreder after i am done with it. lol it works on 2 levels.
soon i will be building a custom cage to go in that corner. i will post pics to let everyone see how it came out.

I like the remote litter box. Right now my house is to small to do something like that. I to would also suggest a bed or another hammock.
