We dont know what to do with her she is getting worse with her bitting she has bitten my BF many times and today she got me not once but twice and the teeth went thew my leather glove we have been working with her since feb and it seems the older she gets the naster she is she has even been fighting with the other babies in the cage making them screem and they will run off she is even getting to destory things in the cage and pooping outside the litter pans, we cant even work around the cage without her bitting the bars. she was given to us by my vendor cause she was too old to sell and she was starting to nip and if we didnt take her he was going to have to put her down. well this week she is going to have to find a new place we have friends that come over with kids and we wont have them get bite by here. i am at my ropes end with her. if anyone here is in AZ and wants her let me know u can have her. otherwise she is going to the vets office or the pound sorry guys it breaks or hearts but we dont know what to do.

Anyway you could get her to Morningstarr Animal Sanctuary in Flagstaff, AZ? I know they would take good care of her if you could just find a way to arrange transport to them. www.morningstarr.org/Im really sorry that you are having to make this difficult decision. I wish you the best of luck. I would really try and get her to the ferret shelter though. She will probably be put to sleep if you take her to the pound of the vets office or she could wind up in a non-ferret knowledgable home. Al and Fran (owners of morning starr) are wonderful people and wouldnt adopt fang out to anyone but the perfect home. If they couldnt find a perfect home then they would keep her and lover her till the end of her days. They might not be taking private surrenders, but if you explain your situation and the shelter population is fairly low, they might take fang.

I've never heard of clicker training as an assosiation with *not* doing something. Usually its used as a bridge when a good behavior is preformed. But if it's working for you, great.
