Oh how CUTE!!!! They're just adorable, and now I'm suffering from kit envy (again ) I just love the picture of you daughter holding one of the boys...he looks thrilled with her new little "brothers" One thing you'll want to do is keep those flip-flops well out of reach. Anything rubbery or spongey is something ferrets love to take a bite out of and swallow. Things like rubber bands, pencils with erasers, sponges, rubber soles on shoes (especially flip-flops), etc. can be eaten in an instant, and many ferrets end up with obsructions. You'll want to surpervise your ferrets closely since children aren't always good at remembering the rules! One time, my husband had one of our ferrets on the kitchen counter (es, very hygenic ), and he pick up a small appliance -one of the little rubber feet fell off the appliance, andour ferret snatched it instanly - as fast as a mongoose!!! That ferret had the rubber foot half alf to the back of his mouth before my husband could pry his mouth open to retrieve the rubber.. A VERY CLOSE CALL - right under our noses!!! Ferrets are little monkeys witout opposing thumbs (thank goodness they can't grasp thingswith their paws!!!) Anyway, you'll be amazed at what your little guys will get into!!! Have fun and give the boys lots of cuddles and kisses!!! -jennifer

ya nothing goes without my supervision. I want to get a playpen for this reason to..so the kids won't accidently step on them or the babies getting into something they shouldn't. My flip flops aren't foam though. They're hard plastic of some sort. I couldn't break them if I wanted to.

Cool flip-flops!!! I never saw a pair of ferret-proofed flip-flops. (Except they can stilll get your toes when you're wearing flip-flps I can't wear any rubber-soled shoes in the ferret room - they latch on to the soles even when I'm wearing them - and then I can't even walk!!! I may have to look for ferret-proofed flip-flops! -jennifer
