Sounds like things are really moving for you. I think you're correct in your assumption about Loki. It takes them a bit of time to get the strength to have a good go at the larger pieces. They try but they tire quickly and get discouraged. Unfortunately, they would rather not eat at that point Good luck, you're doing awesome ciao

Thats exactly what happens with her she gets tired, gives up and only wants the gravy. Rolo is 2, Mr. Bean and Edgar are both 1 so that explains that for sure. Thanks Heather I'm glad I didn't have to join the mentor program and that I will be able to say I did it myself with the info I learned here. It really makes me feel good when I look at the 3 and see them eating their meat by themselves and loving it and without my mine and everyones help it would not have been possible. Thank you everyone for your help and inut thus far. I hope to update you soon that the 3 are on RMBs and Loki is on bigger plain chunks.

I've seen it a lot, you have to remember most of my guys are over the age of 5 and I'm presently seeing it big time with Babushka who is over 10. She wants to eat and she sits there and chews on her food forever but she's just not getting anything into her tummy. Her idea of a delicacy these days are mouse tails. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of nutrition in those I've started to supplement feed her and that seems to be putting weight back on but at this age..... Anyway, keep up the great work. You have proved too, by feeding the correct information to the list and reporting to them almost in the same manner that you would to a mentor that you can get your little ones switched. The only difference is that you don't have just one person feeding you information and building a relationship. The major advantage as I see it is your getting information from the list as a whole (though it does seem that most of the posts come from the various mentors anyway ) Either way, this list works to help people get their furbabies switched to a healthier lifestyle and that's what it's all about ciao ciao

Got a bunch of meat yesterday.
2 packs of wings a round tip steak a pack of 2 boneless lamb shoulders and a big pack of chicken breast
I cut up one win into chunks with the poultry shears and Mr. bean and Rolo tore into it. Rolo has this thing where she likes to chew the plastic on the doggy stairs and as soon as she started doing that I put her in front of the food dish and handed her a chunk and she was in bliss to be able to eat how she is supposed to. Mr. Bean is in love with the knobby cartilage joint parts. Edgar is being a picky butt its ok though he has plenty of fat on him to hold him over. He ate some chunks without bones but i haven't seen him eat any bone.
Loki is making a little progress. Our blender broke so no more soup. I have been giving her kibble size chunks in goats milk otherwise she will NOT touch it. She eats the chunks when spoon fed but not yet by herself. She is always excited about meal time though. Last night and this morning she had lamb which she was NOT thrilled about last night. But this morning she was much more willing to eat from the spoon by herself. I so wish she would at least be on plain chunks by herself but I am not that lucky. At least she is eating what she is eating and she will get there eventually.
