Last night, I took the kibble completely out of Tesla's food. (We were down to one kibble). He ate it - most of it.
I give him about a tablespoon and a half for each meal (one before I go to school, then is taken out at about 5:00, then one at about 8:00.) Each time, there's a bit left, and I don't feel like he's getting enough. The reason I give him so little is because I was giving him a lot, and he left so much of it, and I didn't want it to go to waste.
Does this sound right? I see him eating, and he's pooping normally. He doesn't appear to be losing any weight, and he's still playful and curious about everything. Should I be worried?
Edited to add: He did have 3 meals per day (one before school, directly after school, then directly before bed), but on the after school meal, he barely touched it, which is why I cut it down to two meals.

If there is food left after the meal, that means he's getting enough. And as long as he's not losing weight and is pooping normally, I would say what you are doing is working well!

Mine eat between 1 to 4 ounces a day, depending on age, activity level, etc. So they really don't eat a lot with raw, but it's enough to do for them. I do leave meat in the cage during the day/night for snack attacks though.

I just use an "el cheapo" version from the dollar store, with a lever dial It gives me an approximation of what I'm feeding the brats. I do need to pick up a digital though, for actually weighing the ferrets!
