Baaack. No raw tonight. Didn't think I'd get back as early as I did but no raw to feed. Oh well. Tomorrow. Gave them some yesterday night and Tootsie's catching onto me. She's starting to not take kibble mush in any way, shape, or form, so raw soupies that you suggested, Heather, will be next. Is there any possible ways to get like, just ONE organ or do I have to buy a whole tub like livers? Is it worth buying a tub of it and freezing it?

I'd buy the tub and freeze it in whatever serving sizes you are going to use. That way you've always have some on hand and it's usually more economical to use it that way. I will pop in tomorrow and see what you're up to ciao

Umm, okay I'll get the tub. Can't be too much money anyway. We're pretty much OUT of dog food (the new food is upsetting her and no old food) so I have to go out today to get that, anyway.

I'm so sorry I hate that I'm not getting anywhere with this but we only went to Wal-Mart recently and ours never has livers. Still giving them the soup chunks though to get them eating something.

Keep working away at it. What's in your soupy anyway? Maybe, switching to whole meats might be the way that you should go? It would have to be bone in, things like wings, pork riblets, quail quarters, rabbit....to name a few. Keep trying ciao

Well right now they don't like soup so it's just kibble (with water) and the little chicken chunks.
What do you mean by whole meats? Just introduce them with that stuff?

I've quite often just added some meat to newbie fuzzies. I will give them a chicken wing that's been scored and let them have a go at it. A lot of them don't have any idea as to what it is, but if they're playing with the other guys they soon learn that it's worth at least stashing. Often if they will stash something they will actually taste it. You can bread it with kibbles to maybe make them try it. If your guys are eating the meat in your soupy, then go for it and keep working at it. How fast you do this isn't that important if they're still eating kibbles. How do you feed this? Do you just give them the bowl or do you spoon feed them ? Keep adding more and more little bits of meat in their soupy kibbles and eventually you can start cutting back on the kibbles and eventually they will be eating just the meats. At some point you will have to introduce bone (which is one of the reasons why I mentioned possibly feeding them whole meats at some point soon) ciao

Hi Emilee, I'm back. My computer won't let me stay signed in on here, I'm trying to figure out why.

Welcome back, Maria! Okay, I'll try giving them a wing and see what happens. Would be a MIRACLE if they actually went right for that. With the soup, I usually give it to them on my fingers with a chunk of meat. Then when they lick that, I put the spoon right next to my finger and slowly move away my finger and they eat from the spoon, then I just plop the spoon in the bowl and let them at it. Jasper is easily fooled by my sneaky chicken chunks but Tootsie isn't falling for it. I always knew she was smarter than him.

Oookay mom and dad have been tiling so I'm not able to get them to take me anywhere. We're going shopping tonight, though.

Sorry I haven't need around to reply.. Like I said, my computer wouldn't let me sign in on here.. I tried every single day, and it was showing me on the online user list but I wasn't signed in.. I couldn't post or anything. I think it is working now, it hasn't kicked me off yet.
How'd it go with the wings??

That's okay I totally understand!! Computers... Well I got two thighs instead because they only had like, 20 packs of chicken wings and I didn't need that many. Mom ended up freezing them together so today I split them up and refroze. How long should it take to thaw a chicken thigh?

In the fridge or on the counter?? I'd say 1 or 2 days in the fridge or about 1 or 2 hours on the counter.
