Hi Jaycee, It's nice to meet you. x3 Thanks so much for your support, and thanks to everybody here. I'm sorry I haven't been updating, our computer crashed and I couldn't get to another one. We seemingly fixed the problem so everything should be fine from now on. Alright, I'll catch you all up now. :3 Lizzie is doing well. Yesterday evening I started mixing chicken bits into the wet cat food and she ate the whole thing, I'm keeping that up and she's still eating all of it, leaving nothing behind . An hour ago I tried giving her just the chicken but she wasn't interested so she's still eating the mix. I'm thinking I'll gradually put more chicken and less wet food until she's just eating chicken.. Which may take weeks. Thank again, and I'll keep up the updates!

Lizzie is doing GREAT! I just took a big step and gave her about 1/4 wet food 3/4 chicken breast peices, And....She ate the whole thing!! That's alot of chicken! WOOT, I'm so happy for her. :3 Tonight I'm going to try even less wet food, and see how that goes. I'm tellin' ya it's hard only switching one cat; Our kitty, Bruce, REALLY wants that raw meat.

Lizzie's doing great. She's eating alot of chicken bits, with about 2tsps of wet food. I tried giving her just chicken bits but she'll have none of that, Lol, Stubborn. She must love the smell of the wet food. ;3

Well, This morning I gave her chicken breast peices with about 5-6 tiny bits of wet food mixed in to give off that smell, and She's eating it al, going straight for the chicken!! I think tonight Lizzie will be ready for chicken with out the wet food! ..fingerscrossed.

Well, It kinda was. I put the plate in front of her with just chicken peices.. She looked at me and walked over meowing for her REAL food.. Lol, Apparently she doesn't like the smell of raw because I just wiped the top of the wet food can across the chicken bits leaving like 3ish miniscule wet food things. And, She dug right in! So.. It's definitly progress.. Tomorrow I'll try again with no cat food. ;3 And, We're also going to switch our kitty Bruce, because he is literally BEGGING for raw. We have to lock him out of the kitchen so he doesn't steal Lizzie's food. So, Is it okay if I just add him to this switching thread? I have a strong feeling he'll be SUPER easy.

I am ok with you adding Bruce to the switching thread. I say go ahead and give it a try. It seems like he is an eager student anyway! How is Lizzie doing today with the raw chicken? Hang in there, you are almost there!

Awesome. Bruce went straight at it, Ingulfed the whole thing. He's a natural beast, Lizzie is now eating raw! No wet cat food! I'm so proud of her, She's on her way to a healthier, slimmer kitty. x3 ..And just out of curiosity I tried out our other cat, Samantha, and she ingulfed it similar to Bruce! But I wouldn't know how to switch her.. She pukes up everything new she eats, and sometimes even her regular cat food. It's best probably to keep her on what she's used to.. But I don't know, What do you think? Gah, You can't imagine how proud I am of all my little carnivores! My moms freaked out though, Lol!

Lizzie's doing well, Except some people keep feeding her kibble in the morning. Which makes me mad because she's doing so well. She's more active which is weird to see, Lol, She's great. Bruce on the other hand is going to be on more of a supplementary raw diet than full raw. The bowl of dry food is on a table where all the cats, except Lizzie of course, can get to it, So he's not always hungry for the raw. He eats it though, So it's better than nothing. ;3

Well, Lizzie's not eating anything new, she eats the breast meat, But I ran out of that, and she won't eat pork or giblets. >< I wish I had some breast meat, Maybe we can pick some up next time we go to the store. I dribbled some wet cat food juice on it, but all she did was lick that up. When she saw Stewart eating the same thing, Only not cut up, She tried to eat it.. But just wasn't interested. Sigh, Well, I suppose when she's hungry she'll eat it. So, I'm going to try it again later today...

Sorry it has been a couple of days, but I didn't forget about you. I can understand the frustration with having others feed Lizzie her kibble. Trust me. My husband sneaks it in whenever he gets the chance. He is so difficult to deal with sometimes. Wish I could lock him up in the cage instead! That is great about Bruce already enjoying the raw diet. Has Samantha ever been to the vet if she gets that sick after eating? To transition Lizzie over to other meats, I would start mixing the two together. Chicken and a little bit of pork....then and a little bit more. Basically the same technique applies here as it was during the switch from kibble to chicken. Have you tried leg yet?

No Samanha hasn't been to the vet for that problem. And, Bruce hasn't been eating raw, not because he doesn't want to of course, but since he's really a goat he eats everything in sight. He ate the floor! O.O My goodness.. Yeah, That's good advice, I'll try that, but I really do need to get to the store to get more meat, The only thing I have left is Pork Neck. I'm hoping to get there today, But no promises. What I'll do is, mix the Pork Neck in with the wet cat food that I've been giving Lizzie and let her eat that, I'm sure she would, because she wouldn't exactly know it was in there, Lol. No, I haven't tried leg, That's too big of a step for her right now. I did, however, after a PM from someone suggesting it, Blend together chicken bones and meat and gave her that. She ate the whole thing. I'm glad because I was afraid she wasn't going to get all the nutrients she needs for awhile. But blending it she didn't even know, Lol. I'm not going to do that all the time, Because I want her to learn how to rip and tear, Hahh, But it's good to know. x3 Alrighty then. Thanks, Jaycee. I'll try to get to the store and maybe buy 2 CGH and a regular Chicken, to last until I order all the good stuff from Rodentpro. x3

So, how did the pork go? I know that when I was switching my ferrets pork was the last meat I switched them over to, and it was by far their favorite! I never ground the bones into my mix only because I was afraid of splintering the bone and causing abrasions in the mouth or throat. I think it is better if they grind it up themselves, but I could be wrong. I been known to be a time or two!
