yes, just a few drops a day, I say 1/8 a teaspoon. I give mine wild alaskan salmon oil instead of ferretone.

I use Grizzly Salmon oil. Since I buy it in the pump bottle, I give about 1/2 pump per ferret every few days.

Did you guys noticed a difference when you started using it? as compared to Ferretone (I would like to stop on the ferretone and use something a little healthier).

It does help with their coat. Otherwise? Not really. It's just that I know it's healthier for them. I still do use 'tone for nail clipping, and as a lure/training aid. Mainly because although mine really like the salmon oil, it doesn't hold their attention in quite the same way

My brats won't eat ferretone anymore. A lternate between a bottle of salmon oil - then a bottle of sardine/anchovy oil (smaller bottle).
The fish oils are very good for them - not just for the omega 3's, but also for the anti-inflammatory properties. Plus, regular use of oil (small amounts daily) will work in place of hairball remedies.
Do not feed the cod liver oil - the balance of omega's is not as good as the fish body oil.
