You came to me as a transfer between rescues, your people didn't understand that you weren't aggressive, only scared, deaf...locked in your own silent world. You learned that love came in warm arms and gentle touch and a stereo that had speakers that provided you with a wonderful vibration that you could actually lay your head in and hear the music. You ruled your business with a firm paw (except for your queen "B", she answers to no one). You lived your life to the fullest, enjoying the great outdoors, chasing your mice and playing with your furfriends. You allowed children to hug and love you, you were a gentle soul. In the end your heart could not keep you going, without you my heart breaks. For now, I will look for you in the rustling leaves and the whispering wind. When my time ends, we will once again play towel games, and I will hold you in my arms. I miss you my most awesome little friend. Run wild and free my bestest bud. Goodbye old friend, until we meet again, goodbye ciao

Oh, Heather, I don't know what to say. Except I'm so sorry. Attila knew he was loved, and is waiting for you and his family now.

Oh, Heather!! I'm soo sorry!! It's been such a rough year for you Please know you're in our thoughts and prayers. Cyber <hugs> and fuzzy kisses to you and your crew. Gentle journey, Attila...enjoy all the new sounds. Your little life started out rough but what love and understanding awaited you in your final forever home. Your momma will always love you and will come for you some day. In the meantime, you watch over her and make her smile when you can. Take comfort in your crew and I hope you find peace and healing soon.

Thank you everyone. Your thoughts are really appreciated. I've held many a ferret as they pass, Attila's passing came as a total shock. This one really hurt. I keep thinking I will see him trundling down the hallway or jumping out at me from under the bed. I miss him terribly. ciao
