So, I gave lexie an egg tonight. I felt the urge lol. I'm going to the store tomorrow to get her some raw meat. I out the egg in her food bowl but, as of now, shes not eating it. How long hsold I leave the egg in for? She doesn't have her regular food because she only has one bowl. So, should I take the egg out in a few hours or what? Actually I htink I have a spare bowl that I just remembered. Should I out her raw food or regualr food in it. Its one of the small ones that hook to the side of the cage. The tehr one, that currently has the egg in it is a big plastic dog bowl.

Not sure where you are in your switch, but with the egg, it'll start to dry out in a couple of hours. Did you try breaking the yolk for her? Sometimes that'll make the difference. Some just don't take to it, however. If you still have her mainly on kibbles, don't leave the food out of the cage for more than overnight. You could try putting in the raw first, see if she'll eat that instead. If not, give her some kibbles.

with mine i only give them the yolk no white. I have to break the yolk for them and touch it do their lips on a baby spoon. Sometimes i have to scruff them. But they really do love it once they remember it is not poison. I hardly give it plain though, mostly I mix it in with their soups (still raw)
