I just found out, Larson Rabbitry is making a delivery run to Gurnee, and then Rockford, on Thursday May 28th (next thursday).
Here is the info Peter Larson sent me:
"Minimum orders for delivery are 50lbs whole or 40lbs ground or a combination of products but I cut that in half for first time customers if they prefer. Delivery would be $30 to you front door. I lower the delivery fee's if other people near you order as well. If you have other friends that would like to order, a group drop works as well. That way everyone splits the delivery fee. As orders stand I am traveling to Gurnee and then over to Rockford, but if you order I'd gladly deliver to you. If you wanted to meet me in Gurnee at the mall, that would be fine as well. I have a $10 minimum on all deliveries even if people meet me somewhere. A case (50lbs) of whole rabbit w/organs is $2.50/lb.

There's a few types to choose from, from whole skinned rabbits with organs and guts, or no guts, to whole furred rabbits and frozen pinkies.

Not only that, but he also delivers to your door even when he's not making a run like this.
I can't afford it yet
at least not by myself. xD And there's no way I can fit 50lbs of rabbit anywhere...
If you're anywhere near Rockford or Gurnee and need rabbit, or can get in on an order with someone, maybe this could be something to think about?
FYI, the Rabbitry is located in Wisconsin, and he delivers anywhere in Wisconsin and some of the surrounding states, you just need to e-mail him and ask.
