I unfortunately don't live with any furry friends right now. The pets that I consider mine right now are actually my bf's, his mothers, and his sister's, but I got so attached to them when living in Georgia last Summer, and this past Winter, that I consider them my own as well. The others have either passed on, or were near adoptions that didn't work out because the previous owners changed their minds!
This is Murray, he's the one that is the most my pet. My bf's mom and I conspired behind his back to get him while I was living in Georgia last summer, He's almost a year old. He's the spaztastic white wonder, because he really is totally insane.
Here he is at about 10 or 12 weeks old:
And here he is at about 6 months old:
He's almost a year old now, and I don't have any current piccers!
This is Noel, she's a Puerto Rican rescue pup! I call her the crazy feather duster because she's part Blue Belton English Setter and, as such, she's got a nutty tail (and she's a pretty nutty girl)! She always looks so depressed, silly dear.
This is Dolce, she's my bf's sister's dog, but is living with their mom because his sister can't keep her at her place right now. She's a drama Queen, and a cuddle bug. They were told when they adopted her that she was a chihuahua/shitzu cross, but his mom and I think she's more likely a chihuahua/jack russel cross, because of her personality and size. Her favorite pastime is hunting flies! Also, it's reeeeally hard to get pictures of her, because she seems terrified of shiny electronic objects like cameras and phones. My bf tries to get all the animals to say hi to me on the phone and she just runs away!
This is my fishie Juunigatsu (December in Japanese). He was a Christmas gift to fill my empty tank from my brother. I always have horrible luck despite my best efforts and diligence with fish, and Juuni lived for over 2 years, he passed away of an Ich infection that despite my mothers best efforts, just would NOT go away while I was away last summer. He was pretty awesome and responsive for a fish. He knew when feeding time was, would follow fingers around, had arguments with his plants when they weren't in the right place, etc.
This is Sparkle the cockatiel. She was a class pet in my brother's 7th grade class. She was a sweetie pie and we took care of her over Winter vacation and Summer vacation and were told halfway through Summer vacation that since we had reported her getting a little territorial/bonding with people and becoming defensive with becoming sexually mature and starting to lay that we'd probably get to keep her because she didn't sound like a very safe pet for a classroom any more. Needless to say we got very attached! However, the science teacher changed her mind deciding that instead she would make a great teaching tool, and we had to return her at the end of the summer.
Another cockatiel that almost became ours was Gandalf, he was a behavior problem that had become very hard to handle after getting jealous/agitated when they added more pets to the family. He was suspected of having a parasite or bacterial issue which was causing him to pluck so the entire month we had him I was in charge of medicating a very grumpy little bird! His problems, however, were purely behavioral and when we weren't sure if we were taking him in or not my friends were not okay with us changing his cage setup, feeding, or anything else, so there was no way if we could find out if there was anything we could change to make him a more agreeable pet, so we had to give up on that adoption as well. However, I still visit him a lot. He's sweet enough if you let him handle you, versus you handle him!
No pictures of this silly guy, a video instead!

I've also had a german shepard/husky mix named Maya, she passed on when I was 5, and a Staffordshire Terrier, named Freeway that we rescued off the freeway who passed when I was 13.
