I've been a little lax on giving Ozzy a soup but I've finally decided it's time.
I'm experimenting right now until I find something right for him. This is my current recipe:
1 boiled egg (he won't eat raw eggs)
1 oz chicken kidney
1 oz beef liver
1 oz chicken heart
I'm putting this all in my food processor to get it blended up and then I'll water it down as needed. Yes, this is organ day ^_^.
He's also getting 2 mice in case he wants something a little crunchier.

nice organ recipe but you mite want to add a some egg shell or give them wings to help prevent extreemly liquidy stools

He eats whole meats. I figured that getting him used to soup would help in the long run in case he ever does refuse whole meats.
I'm trying to give as much variety as possible so he'll eat whatever I put in front of him when he gets older.

I know you use this for organ days, but for soupies, I'd add in some meat to the mix as well as the powdered eggshell that Suds suggested. That way, if he's ill, he'll be used to eating a soup that gives him everything he needs.

I forgot to mention that I included the eggshell with the boiled egg. I'm the one who gets to clean the litter box so it's in my best interests to have as much calcium in his diet as possible . I also let him keep the remains of his breakfast (a chicken leg) since there wasn't very much left. I'll be sure to add a little more muscle meat (I personally feed heart as muscle) to the mix next week though.

Chicken heart is a muscle. I just meant I'd add more to bring it up to a frankenprey model . I just read over my post, and realized I hadn't been very clear. Sorry about that!

No problem.
To be honest, the main reason I'm starting to experiment with raw soup is because I'm about to be struck by ferret math. I'm going to go to have Ozzy meet his new friend tomorrow afternoon. The (possible) new addition is already a year old and has only been fed kibble so I'm experimenting with ways to get the new one to switch as quickly as possible.

I will once I get a decent camera. My bf finally decided that we needed something more than our cell phone cameras so we'll be getting one in next week.
You'll also get some updated pics of Ozzy. He's close to 2 pounds now and has a full gold undercoat with darker guard hairs. He's becoming even more beautiful than he was when I brought him home.
