I personally use a cardboard box lined with old T-shirts.

You would need alot of cardboard boxes, switching them out every time to keep everything disinfected and clean. I'm going to be using [dark-colored or black] plastic rubbermaid tubs, it's easily cleaned after every meal or the end of the day and you only need that one. (Or, One for each ferret you own.) ;3 Here is a link on feeding boxes and how to make your own: www.naturalferrets.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=318

I forgot to mention that I staple the shirts in the box as a lining and pry off the staples whenever I need to change out the shirts.
I've also noticed that Ozzy now prefers to eat out in the open anyway...

I just use whatever soda box has been emptied. They'll get it for a couple of days and then I throw it out. Loki likes taking the whole bowl and stuffing it under my art portfolio that's leaning against the wall (we're not impressed : Thor's favourite spot is the litter box Sanitary isn't in a ferret's vocabulary Actually they have a couple of those rodent habitats (the plastic ones that have no bottoms, they look like an igloo) in their room that they use. I just have to pick up the igloo and wash the floor underneath (as long as Loki doesn't decide the igloo needs to be somewhere else in the house .) They don't have to be fancy, the ferrets' don't really care, they just have to be easily cleaned out, for us. I'm not impressed with one of the places, which is the bottom space in the cat tower. That is disgusting (carpeted for cat comfort) next to impossible to clean . They don't have to be difficult to create, your furbaby doesn't care. They just have to be simple to maintain for you:) ciao

Well, You should melt a hole in the bottom of it so he can easily get in and out. I'm going to see if I can bend a wire hanger and boil it than set it where I want it on the tub and just let it burn through. :] Then, I'll put a short-cut (6 in) dryer hose out of the hole to keep out bacteria and Cats! You can just drape a blanket over the top of it so air can come through, x3 I don't think putting the lid on is very safe.. Awwh! Do you have piccy's of his chubbiness? Lol, I love the chumbawambas!

We have plastic sterilite storage boxes and I line them with pieces of brown paper bags. We used a metal coffee can heated on the stove top to melt a perfect circle and then fitted a plastic gutter drainage extender tube thingy in it. Soaking the tube in hot water helped get it in there easily. We had to make a tunnel entrance to keep cat paws out and it works really well.

No Problem! I'll be doing that tomorrow, So You'll have it by tomorrow night. x3
Liver is high in Vitamin A and if your fert eats too much it will be a problem. What I do is give him 1 liver each week. So, If you have 2 organ days, like me. Give 1/2 a liver each organ day. :]
