Aww.. what did Beastie do? I wonder if he's hyper like Slinky or lazy like Weasel.. all 3 (B, S, and W) about the same age I think.. don't tempt me girly- you know I think he's a cutie.. he was a cuddler in those sweater pics.. my type of fert Slinky's too wound up to let me hold him much, but Weasel lets me hold him all the time. Oh- how much does he eat?

Oh wow.. real sorry to hear that girlie.. my boys would be in big trouble over something like that too. Is it beyond repair? Sometimes, if you yank out the battery immediately and let it dry completely, it may help.. Was it turned on when it got watered down? Well.. idk... you could get a tiny laptop from walmart for $350 www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10575193, Dell's start at $500, or you could check craigslist (test before you buy if used)... Until then, I guess local colleges and libraries will let you get online.. Sorry to hear that.. you will survive though (and hopefully Beast too) Weasel's still being a pig. I'll go into my room with a handful of meat, put two chunks in Weasel's cage, then two chunks in Slinky's box where he eats. Weasel will just sniff his, then go snatch a piece from Slinky, then they chase each other around the room with it. (NOT cool). I had to lock Weasel in his cage for a minute so he'd let Slinky eat. They'll sleep in a pile together all day, but once they wake up, they chase each other biting and hissing. I still think its play. They both try to be in control though- each thinks the other is his personal chew toy Here's pics of Slinky munching out:

Mmm mmm what good little boys. I am not gonna be cheap about my computers you get what you pay for. Plus anything smaller than a 17" screen hurts my eyes. So i'll find out in the next 48 hours if its repairable or not. then when i have enough i'll just go on tiger direct and buy the same one i have now and switch the hard drives out if my hard drive isnt ded. beast would be in slight danger of finding a new home if he killed ym hard drive its the only place i have pictures of my rocky left. and of the 10000+ songs that took me 3 years to aquire.

Oh wow, girlie. True, you get what you pay for. Those Dell's aren't bad though if you're on a budget. I bought a $500 laptop (Inspiron B130) from Dell in 2005 and I'm still on it. Bought it for school but it'll play World of Warcraft. Also, I've dropped this thing on the floor twice without protection (thank goodness it still works no problem). My boys have been eating cgh and pork the past couple of days. In the future, I suggest copying those pictures onto a CD or uploading them to multiple websites. Never know when a computer will crash.. Good luck with your PC woes.. Sorry that happened. I'm sure Beastie didn't mean it. He probably was impatient and wanted to see what you were looking at (what got you distracted from him)

Wow. That's good. So are they gonna fix it (add new parts) or put your HD in a new machine? Good thing you got your pix anyways Boys are eating good. The last two days they've been eating cgh and pork. Today I bought a mouse for Slinky. Like Weasel, he killed it quick but then lost interest. I cut the mouse into little pieces and made a soup with: 1 part kibble, 1 part warm water, 2 parts cornish game hen meat and bones, 1 part cgh blood, and 1 part mouse. They ate their fill of the soup earlier. Not sure if they ate any of the mouse yet. I'll offer it to them again later today. When they finish it all I'll be able to tell if they ate any of the mouse. (Sorry about tub stains, tried scrubbing before feeding)

Well, they ate all of the soup I made them yesterday and I had to feed them more cgh at night. Weasel ate around the little mouse pieces at first, but I heard a big commotion late last night (like when they fought over a bone) and this morning all of the mouse was gone. I can only assume they ate it. Otherwise you'll hear me shouting cuss words in a few days if I find the mouse's head somewhere.
I guess that went well. I'll probably get another mouse or two next week and put both fuzzies in the tub at once.

Yesterday I had to give the boys Slinky's kibble mix because I was unable to get groceries and they had eaten all their meat. I plan on getting groceries today so I can restock on meat for them.
I see this two ways though. While I don't think it'll effect how they love their meat, I hope they didn't get tummy aches. However, at the same time, its good that they'll still readily accept dry food in case of emergencies.
Now here's something to consider. I should have at least a bag of dry food for them for backup or emergencies: in case the weather's bad and I can't get to the store, natural disaster, travel, etc.
What are good kinds of dry foods to keep as backup? I know one member sells dry (Casey's Food Pantry?)- is that my only option?

wysong has good freeze dried food so does ziwipeak evo red meat bites are good as well. Stella and chewies is another good one. they are more expensive than kibbles and raw but they are freeze dried raw you could also try NV's raw ground. you can keep that in the freezer for emergencies. Send off for a bunch of samples i'm sure you'll find sometihng the babies will eat if you dont have raw on hand

Thanks for the info I'll probably get the sample pack from Casey's Hidden Pantry in a couple of weeks and see which they like best. I bought some boneless beef (cut for stew) and a whole young chicken this afternoon. The chicken was $1.09/lb and the beef was $2.99/lb. That's why I rarely get beef. But that's enough for them to have beef at least 2 days this week. Weasel ate his little cut, Slinky chewed on his but didn't finish it.

Beef again for breakfast. Weasel ate good. Haven't seen Slinky eat much yet. Maybe he's like Weasel used to be and prefers chicken and cgh right now?
