Thank you Giuli. I never thought about that. I just suposed it was because there was something wrong with them.
I am sorry for the typos. It seems that no matter how much i check my typing, I always end up typing something wrong.
" I did not have to use the sureng. I only showed him the spoon, and put the spoon in the bowl. He feed for a good four minits before wanting down where he was trying to get into everything.
The girl ate from the spoon about four or more spoon fulls, but it was the thicher stuff, and not the liquid this time so Thumps up!"

One more step up in the right direction!
Tonight i am dead tired, so I just heated the food up in a bowl and placed it in the cage for them to eat on there own.
The girl went right too it and started pigging out, and the boy took a few licks before going to sleep in the cornor. I say that is STILL a big step for the girl. She ate the soup without the spoon, and any help from me.
Ps- I think i have found the perfect name! Loki For the boy, and Loka for the girl. Unless i can find a different version of loki. How would you guys spell the Norse god's name?

I like the names That is great that they are progressing! Even small steps are a big deal, I'm very proud. Don't worry about typos, I have the worst spelling on the planet

Update* Tonight I pulled out the baby chicken food i had bought, along with ttheir normal dinner. The moment i put them near the bowl, Both of them started to eat. Loki ate untill i guess he was full, and Loka went from the bowl to eating out of the jar of baby food.
Now that they are eating the soup pretty good, What new things could i try them out on?
ps- I noticed that when Loka licked a bit of the baby food, She would freeze and run away to a cornor to eat it. It's kind of amusing to watch. She also ALWAYS goes the same way too and from the bowl when she goes off to munch on her meal.

Well now the next step is to add TEENY TINY chunks of raw chicken (breast or thigh, thighs are better though) into the soup. When I say tiny I mean REALLY small. 1/4-1/2 the size of a piece of kibble. If they refuse to eat the chunks make them even smaller. Now what you'll do is slowly increase the size of the chunks. The goal is to get them eating chunks of meat that are about the size of your thumb. This can take some time, so dont rush. If you increase the size and then they refuse to eat, decrease the size a bit (but still make it slightly bigger then what you were doing before). Monitor their eating, their waste output, and their weight (you can do this visually or with a scale). Make sure they are maintaing their weight. Keep me posted.

I am excited to say that I have selected a permanant Holistic Ferret Mentor for you Tss (Maria) will be mentoring you from now on. She will post soon and let you know a little about herself and her ferrets and her raw feeding experience. I have confidence that she'll do a great job helping you switch your babies. I will still monitor your switching thread (as I do with all newbie threads) but it is Tss that will be posting back and forth with you. Congratulations, keep up the great work, and good luck!

Hi!!
I'm Maria, I own 3 fuzzies Weezer, Lillian and Ravi. Weezer and Ravi are marked dark eyed whites and Lillisn is albino. I got Weezer October 8th '07, Lillian in November and we just got Ravi 2 weeks ago. I started trying to get Weezer to eat raw right away but also fed kibble for a couple months. Lilian and Ravi took right to raw but Weezer was much harder to switch. They eat all raw with the exception of kibble once in the blue moon.
Hopefully we will have your fuzzies on raw in no time, there is no need to rush but most of the time the switch is quick.

Hello Tss!
I am sorry i did not post sooner, I have been ether too busy, or too tired to do anything.
I want to share with you some updates on there personalities. The boy is Stuborn as hell, and will try his hardest to fit into the smallest spaces. The girl is a little she-devil that drives me bonkers. She has found a way to climb up my guinea pig cages, inbetween my bed and the way, behind my bed, on my dresser. Ever since i started feeding her the duck soup, She has gone hyper-speed.
Thursday & Friday I did not do one on one feedings because of how tired i was, but this morning i did bring out a heated baby food jar and They both got into it. I think they have ate nearly haft the jar!
Tonight I got some cat/ferret food samples from Prettybird, and i tried to get the boy to eat atleast a few peices. He acualy clamped his jaws shut even after i scruffed him. XD
I also found out that they now disown my duck soup and would only eat the baby food. I'll fix my next batch with the baby food mixed in just to please them.
There is good news though! The girl did chew up maybe three-four peices of raw meat dipped in the baby food.
ps- I still haven't named them.

- Oh my! I feel horrible for not posting recently. -
I have happy news! Monday and Last Night, Both of the ferrets would chew up bits of meat dipped in the baby food. They were even crawling on me to get at the baby food. ^.^
On Monday, I made realy small bites, and they ate about four each. Tuesday, I made bigger bites and they ate about haft of them.
- This morning when i tried to get them back in the cage, They both where playing with me and being a little bitey when i tried to pick them up. I didn't care at the time because the boy had never played with me untill this morning. :giggles: -

Sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner. I was out of town until late last night.
It's good they are going for small chunks and baby food, those are the base for starting raw food.

No updates lately because we have been living off of left overs, and i havn't had the time to realy crack open a chicken, or some frozen meat.
They do get to eat baby food everyday both cold, and warm. They like warm a lot better, but i want to get them use to all types.
Thank you for not deleting my posts because of not being online!
