I honestly don't know why my allergies are completely out of control this season..I wonder if its because I washed my carpets? Or something in the woods behind my house has bloomed but my eyes are ticking time bombs, my ears are stuffed, my nose is inflammed, and my sinuses are about to explode behind my red face!! I'm in utter pain and the only meds. I have are allegra, flonase, and sudafed which neither are even providing the slightest relief!! Took some tylenol and the pain is still there Why must I suffer so!!!! If I had my babes this pain would have melted away

I have allergies, and they have been terrible too this month. I know a lot of people SAY they have allergies, but I have gone through all of the lovely little skin tests , so take my word for it. Anyway, in addition to meds, I have found that fish oil seems to be a great supplement to my allergy medicine cocktail. Give the nonbovine shells a shot, since I find you cannot taste the fish or get fish burps.

The brand of fish oil that Tim uses is Nature Made Fish Oil Capsules. You can get them at Target (and other stores, Im sure). We also use these for the ferrets instead of ferretone. www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=149040&catid=121338&aid=337953&aparam=nature_made_omega_3_fish&CAWELAID=61265528A daily does of fish oil has been shown to help reduce allergies. I thought it was all BS until I had Tim try the fish oil for his allergies. It worked really well! If you haven't already, try Zyrtec. It is also available at target, one or two aisles away from the fish oil. There is also a chance that you might be allergic to your pets Just in case why not rub them all down with some Simple Solution Allergy Relief. Tim is allergic to the cat and we put this stuff on her as needed and it helps Tim's allergies to go away. We also put it on the ferrets, just incase he is allergic to them as well (we arent sure if he is or isnt): www.thecatconnection.com/page/TCC/PROD/HLTH-ALER/AC-2604

My allergies only flare up around this time. Other then that my dog sleeps on my bed all the time and I'm fine. I'm wondering if its because I changed the air filters in my vents and dust is flying around. I'm gonna try that fish oil and that spray couldn't hurt to try. Thanks guys!

You might also try taking bee pollen. It is said to be really good, luckly I don't have allergies except to poison ivy and fabreeze but those are only contact allergies. My cousins have cronic allergies and it turns out horrible sinus infections were causing the symptoms, not allergins. Something that has helped them is a neti pot www.netipots.us/

I'm starting to think I have a sinus infection. I had one in the early spring and now the pollen seems to have aggravated my sinuses again. I have so much pressure behind my eyes and cheek bones. My ears are popped to..so today I will be calling to schedule an appt. for some antibiotics. I'm just in so pain and irritated.

Well my doc says I have a sinus infection. She prescribed me some antibotics, some sinus headache meds, zyrtec, and a nasal saline rinse. I'm afraid of that lol but hopefully it will help. There has been a pollen bloom here in tn through out the states around us all the way down to alabama. So a lot of allergy sufferers are in just as much misery.

thanks jenn! So far so good. I feel 90% better with the occasional sneeze and stuffy nose. Now the hubby has the hay fever. I'm hoping the pollen is subsiding because the kids are already showing signs of feeling better to. I just vacumed so I'm hoping that has gotten up some if not all of the pollen. Also febreezed my rug with the allergen reducer.
