I'm not sure if i can feed the mice anymore. The ferrets don't even EAT them. How do i make them eat the mice?

I wouldn't give up on the mice. Sometimes it can take them a few tries before they take to mice. If you wanted to try this, you could. Take a mouse pinky and kill it. Offer it to them. If they refuse it, freeze it, and try again later when they are really hungry. You could also try scenting it with another kind of meat. Once they realize that mice are food, you won't have too much of a problem moving them up to fuzzies, then to hoppers, then weans, and finally adult mice. It just takes time. Only 3 out of my 4 will eat whole prey with any kind of enthusiasm. 2 out of those 3 hunt their own.

Or get a chicken breast, cut it into pieces then stuff pieces of mouse inside to get them to taste it.

okay soo..I wanted to get rid of my stinky male, and get a much nicer male from one of my mice litters. What do i do with it? I let the ferrets out and than scooped the male out and into the feeding dem/container. Holly crap! lelloo was onto him like a pro and within a few minits, he gave a good fight, She had killed him and was just a muching on his body.
BUT, She didn't eat him. I cut a peice of him off and made her try it. No use. She walked away like a cat having just got done playing with it's prey. I even put oil on him to make her try it. They didn't even have food for a couple hours before hand!
Also, Jack was interested and tried to to bite/chew? when lelloo was gnawing on the mouses body.

Howdy again.
The first batch of mice are crawling, while the second have furr starting on them. I only have to figuostre out which are F & M and than make sure i save a male from one bath, and a female from the other. Most likely will be male from the first since they take longer to mature.

Both female mice have had babys again. I watched the second female give birth today.
Yummm. I only have my little male and female left from the last bath to add onto my breeding group

Just reading through your thread for ideas since I'm thinking of getting started breeding soon. It was suggested to me (by Heather on this forum) that ferrets don't like to eat the mouse where they make the kill... they want to drag it off somewhere secluded and eat it there. She described connecting two tubs with a tube so they can make the kill in one and then drag the mouse off to an "eating den". Just thought it might help you get your ferts to eat their kill!

They have their own feeding tub, and a box in their cage. I thought of making a potty tub, but havn't got to it yet.

I just used an old cardboard box if I have problems with ferrets wanting their privacy when eating!

Update- One out of three females are pregnant. I'm going to get a new male soon. My freind was going to get me a little black male once she goes to the petstore.
I'm hoping monster would eat mice easily, and that his poops would become more regular.

My little black mousey gave me some realy cute black babbys. The mothers are all abino, but all the babys are darkies. ^.^ I wonder if it will have an effect on the ferrets eating them.

Color shouldn't make a difference. It never has for my group. Congrats on the babies!

Didn't effect it at all. I fed off all but two younger babys but i have a new litter from two new mothers, and the mothers in the tub are all goft-ball size again.
Also, I may be trading a tub with mice, etc for a pair of rats.

Congrats on the litters and preggo moms. Yea, rats are a bit more fun to breed, but they take up a lot more room, depending on how many you are breeding. The colors are fun too. The albino moms producing dark babies will give an albino gene to their babies, so all those babies had/have one albino gene. If you pair them up with another mouse that carries the albino gene or is albino, you have a chance of producing albinos.
