1. How many ferrets do you currently have? What are their names, ages, genders, and do they have any health problems?

2. What are your ferrets currently eating? What Kind of diet do you want to switch to?
Innova evo cat, natural gold, totally ferret chicken bits, dogswell vitality, squidies, shrimplings, carnivore crunch chicken, wysong archetypal 1, JUMBO WildSide Salmo, Whole Life Turkey and Whole life chicken. I want to switch to raw & maybe whole/live prey.
3. Please list the current weight for your ferret(s). Do they appear overweight? Underweight? How is there muscle tone?
His last weight was 1.75 last year and the year before that was 2lbs. I think right now he’s underweight 1.15 lbs. 23 oct 08- I got him weighed today and hes a little over 2lbs..I still think he looks skinny though.
4. What is the condition of your ferret's teeth/gums? (can you get a picture?)
he has a little tartar on his back teeth not alot. His fangs are slightly becoming translucent.
5. Describe the texture/color of your ferrets coat.
rough summer coat but softer whiter and very fluffy winter coat. As hes gotten older his coat has gotten whiter. his legs used to be black with white mitts and knees there is only a black patch on the one back foot with random black guard hairs and the front have started to turn white too. while the undercoat was yellowish since he was a baby it's now white also.
6. How often does your ferret go to the bathroom?
4-5 maybe? He goes once at least at night when I’m sleeping and maybe twice after I get home from work till i go to bed, once before work usually.. not sure about during the day though.
7. Does your ferret's feces and/or urine smell?
yes his poop smells. It’s not I want to throw up from smelling it but since my place is small I notice the smell.
8. Smell your ferret. How strong is their odor?
His odor is noticeable. I’d say a 8.
9. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being completely lethargic and 10 being "through the roof!" what is your ferret's energy level?
6 I think when he’s hyper he really has at it.
10. How excited is your ferret about meal time (when fed kibble)?
he checks it out and takes a couple bites after refilling the dish
11. What other information about your ferret(s) would you like to share?
He’s probably one of the pickiest ferrets in the world. He doesn’t like soup or cooked meats/eggs. He takes freeze dried mixed with his kibble though. He only likes raw after it’s been through a dehydrator and he would rather starve than eat a little ground raw. He kept trying to squirm away when I tried to put the tiny bit on my pinky finger in his mouth. That’s including putting vivify on it and kibble. I tried putting some on his tummy but he just left it there.

b.) Now you have two options after you get to the mushy kibble stage. You can start working him onto ground raw (and then progress onto whole raw and then onto whole prey) OR you can work him onto whole prey right from the kibble mush. Let me know which you are interested in doing as it will effect the next step in the process.
