I'm going to make dog cookies for the holiday for my parents' dog, my uncle's dog, and of course, our two dogs.
Last year we made a peanut butter flavored vegetarian cookies for the dogs, but this year I want to feed the more natural and meaty biscuit possible.
Does anyone have a recipe they would be willing to share?

I just take a can of 100% meat dog food and mix with an egg and enough whole grain flour to make it like cookie dough. Just cut into shapes and bake at 350 until golden brown.

2 cups flour 1 or 2 eggs 14 oz ground meat 1/2 cup milk (I would use lactose free milk) 1/4 teaspoon salt or garlic salt 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon plain yogurt 4 drops vitamin E (you can buy these in capsules)
mix all ingredients, spread mixture onto a greased cookie sheet (unsalter butter or olive oil works well) so that each cookie dollop is the size of a half dollar. Bake at 400 F until there are hard. After they cool store in fridge.

Peanut Treats (My Dog loves these)
2 1/4 C Whole Wheat flour 3/4 C All purpose flour 1 1/4 TBS baking powder 1 1/4 C Peanut butter 1C milk
Combine flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Combine milk and peanut butter in a separate bowl and mix until smooth. Gradually stir peanut butter mixture into flour in the larger bowl. Knead dough BY HAND and roll out on floured surface to desired thickness. Cut out treats. Place aluminum foil on cookie sheet and bake 15min @ 400 F. Cool before storing. *Cooking time may vary depending on thickness. Makes about 175 small treats.
Cheese Treats
4C whole wheat flour 3/4 C vegetable oil 2 tsp garlic powder 2 eggs, beaten 1 1/4 C shredded cheese 1 1/4 C milk
Combine flour and garlic powder in a large bowl. Gradually stir in vegetable oil, cheese, eggs, milk and blend well. Roll out dough to desired thickness. Cut out treats and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 25 min. @ 400 F. Cool before storing. *Cooking time may vary depending on thickness. Makes about 138 small treats.

Your welcome! I wanna try it out myself. I need to pick up some vitamin E (for preserving)
I got that recipe from Wysong. Of course it said to use all of their products but you don't have too. I would bake the cookies for 8 minutes and check on them.

Thanks again for the suggestions guys. I tried Tss's recipe first since it required the fewest ingredients. It was so easy! I made two batches, one with Wysong Au Jus Chicken and the other with Wysong Au Jus Beef. My dogs, rats, mice and even a few ferrets loved them! One warning: I baked them at my parents house and it STUNK the place up!
