I'm still here =)

I know I've ben absent for a while, with everything going on.
My divorce is now final & I am waiting for him to move out...hopefully within a few weeks. (It has been civil, but I am still really looking forward to when he is no longer in the house.)
I am still looking for a roommate, but if things fall into place the way they appear to be, I may be ok without one...it will just be really tight, financially.
The furkids are doing well. One of the dogs, Zoe-Basenji/Border Collie, will be going with him when he moves out. I will keep the two German Shepherds, & of course the 5 ferrets. I had 7, but had to rehome two of them a couple months ago. It all worked out for the best. My friend who now has them, doesn't want to feed mice, & they never adapted to eating mice. 4 out of 5 of mine now eat mice. Zena will eat meat though. =)
I also have a cat who has made himself an outdoor cat, & I think has adopted my neighbors behind me. LOL I have tried to get him to come home several times, but he loves hanging out with my neighbors cats.
I still have hopes to breed ferrets down the road, but I have to get back into a financial position to do that.
I am doing pretty good, things are starting to fall back into place & I am excited to see what my new path in life holds in store for me. =)

It's good to be back!
In hind sight, I been thinking I probably didn't need to rehome the two ferrets, because things have turned in my favor since then. Had things stayed on the same track they were going at teh time, I will be in trouble & face possibly not having a place of my own at all.
It still worked out well, because my friend wanted two ferrets & they are perfect for her. They are happy they don't get picked on by the big rowdy ones, & I know they are in good hands with my friend.
I actually get to ferretsit them while she goes out of town for 10 days. It will be fun to have them here for that time. I'll have to take some pics. =)
