heyy everyone, i'm new here and i absolutly love ferrets. They are so adorable!! I don't currently have one because my dad thinks that they are biting, violent monsters. I think completely diffrently. I believe that with the proper care and handling they can be the best pet ever. Anyway i am so excited to learn more about ferrets and prove to my dad that they are wonderful creatrues. nice meeting you guys and cant wait to read more aout ferrets.  ;D   |

 glad to see you are learning about ferrets befor you get them they can be great pets when properly cared for and once they steal your heart there is no going back ! hope you enjoy the site look forward to seeing you around

Welcome to the forum sorry i'm a bit late. we all get busy but like the others said prowl around here and maybe you an compile a word processed document that you can give to your father. also take him to the petstore and have him hold a ferret =P he'll be utterly lost i garuntee it.

Welcome! It's great that you are doing research on them before getting them!
Once your dad learns that ferrets are just as good of companion animals as dogs or cats, I think (hope) he will change his mind. =)
