Khina is a snob. If I try to feed her the same meat twice in one day she looks at me like, "This? Again?" You know, Miss Prissy Pants, sometimes life gets busy and I forget to take out two different things out of the freezer. Eating turkey twice in one day is perfectly acceptable. Deal with it. You know, there are other cats that eat the same thing every single day of their lives. Kitties starving in Africa and stuff. EAT THE TURKEY! What level of catitude does your meow meow display? I will be requiring breakfast in bed this morning. Hop to it, slave!

Zephyr aka "Me-Moo" demands every morning at 6:45am (EXACTLY) to be let outside. In addition, she will not eat any mice unless they are weaned or younger. She doesn't like eating the same thing two days in a row, either, and she thinks I am her personal gate keeper. She will come up to the front door (like she wants to come inside) meow, and then she'll just stare at me. I swear to god its like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rb8aOzy9t4

I love Simon's cat! Yes... how can kitties tell time? Before Gordie got here Khina would wake me up at 5:50am every morning for breakfast. I tried for a long time to ignore her until 7, but she just wouldn't have it. Gordie's clock seems to have more to do with when we actually go to bed than the time of day. I only get to sleep 3 hours at a time. It sucks. I love how quiet the ferrets are. Except for Fierra pooping next to the box instead of in it they really rock as pets. And they let me sleep. My cats are loud!

Ferrets? Quiet? My guys rattle their cage bars like little prison inmates. Fugue even picks up a plastic toy and runs it across the bars like a prisioner with a cup! Every single morning I get this. "Wake up mom! Its time to come out and play!".

Oh! Naughty ferrets! The only cage biting I've had to endure with the girls was during their trip from their old home to here. They were making me so nervous with all that carrying on! Latest catitude story. Gordie has been here since the end of April. It was of course a bit rocky at first with he and Khina, but now they really enjoy having each other to play with. Not to cuddle with, mind you. But to chase and wrestle with and such. NOT TO CUDDLE! As long as we're clear about that. So, yesterday I had Khina on my lap and I was picking her nose boogers. (Well, someone has to!) Khina is a vocal thing and was protesting a bit. Gordie got out of his bed and came over and bit me on the calf! "Leave my Khina alone!" Then he just sat there knowing he did something bad, but with total determination that he did what he had to do. Total defiance. Is there a way to turn this protection instinct into some sort of guard cat role? I'd love to walk around at night with my bada** cat at my side scaring off the riffraff.
