How long do you do it? I think that with Lil and Jill we waited just under two weeks but they had been in a house closely watched for a whole month before we got them. With Ravi having been in a dog and cat shelter I'm not sure if he should be Q-tined longer.
We might go ahead and do the ADV tests, I'm not sure yet.

I don'ty know that he needs to be quarentined longer, but if you can get him checked out and cleared in two weeks- and he's settled it seems fine. quarentine gives you time to bond with him, get him onto your diet/schedule, and make sure he's healthy. I adv test and advise others too as well. results from blue cross are usually sent within a week.

Where do you get the cappilary tubes? I don't want to buy a huge pack because I only need 6 and with them costing $30 I don't want to spend the money either since I need the money for testing, the vet check ans some heartworm stuff for the dogs.
I asked in yahoo ferret health and someone was supposed to be sending me some but never did.
