I'm glad that your little one is doing better. You might consider doing a run of thuja (homeopathic) to counter any lasting effects (vaccine damage reaches far beyond the reaction). Babies (human) can and do get severe reactions to vaccines but we do it anyway. Both my kids (skin) had severe reactions to their vaccines, all they did was tell me to give them benedryl. My son now has long reaching problems because of the vaccines. Vaccines are a very personal decision and we're all used to being lied to about them (find a disease get a vaccine ) It doesn't work that way, but that's what we're lead to believe. There are sites and forums that can help you discover more about vaccinations and the problems that have been discovered (some vaccines are worse than the disease they're designed to fight) if you're interested in probing deeper into this aspect of holistic health. Anyway, I'm glad your little one is ok...that's fantastic and that's all that matters ciao

No need to be embarassed about not knowing what something is. The embarassement occurs when one doesn't ask the needed questions. When you start moving within wholistic methods there are many things I've never heard about either . Thuja, is a homeopathic remedy. "Thuja occidentalis (Arbor Vitae) Thuja is one of our most commonly needed remedies for vaccinosis, or disease that arises as a consequence of vaccination. Much of the damage of vaccination centers in the urogenital systems, the spinal cord and the skin. Thuja also has affinity to these regions. Many animals respond favourably to a dose of Thuja because of prior vaccination. Generally, the remedy is used more for chronic than acute conditions, and it may help in some cases where other remedies fail to work because the vaccine influence is too strong." Quote from the materia medica, in the book "Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs. Small Doses for Small Animals" by Don Hamilton DVM. I find this is a fantastic book and a must read. It is geared toward cats and dogs but much of it can be applied to our ferrets. Dosages for kittens would be similar if applied to ferrets. The one thing to realize that you cannot apply Thuja and hope that this will cancel out the damage done by the vaccines. That idea is incorrect. It is unlikely that the Thuja will reverse the vaccine damage and the vaccines generally do more harm than good. There are symptoms that you should look for that start appearing. Homeopathy is much like working methodically through a mystery....by looking at all the clues (symptoms) you can pull a possible remedy. I hope that helped answer your question ciao
