Chewie's going to the vet tomorrow!! They sound very nice and there is a vet there that specializes and owns ferrets!! I told them about how we rescued Chewie and how I believe (well, know but said I think he does cause he hasn't been tested) he has adrenal. So I'll keep you guys updated. Also my dad will most likely be emailing his old owner to tell her about it and ask her to help pay for the surgery.

Oh my.....Well we set out to go find the vet's office. We got lost and instead of it taking 20 minutes it took 45 minutes to get there and find it. So we were 30 minutes late. We got to the office and the secretary said the doc may not be able to see Chewie since she had another vet appoinment in 30 minutes, but she could see us if we paid $70 extra as an emergency fee. I had told her when I made the appoinment that Chewie most likely has adrenal. Well my mom got TICKED!!! She was mad that the Doc wouldn't even come out to talk to us, that our whole afternoon was wasted, and that if we paid more money she could see us. I tried explaining to my mom why they most likely couldn't see Chewie in 30 minutes, but what's the extar $70 for? So now I have to schedule again and bring my dad cause my mom might flip out again.... I just want to get this over with!!!!

awee sorry you are haveing such problems but I cant blame your Mom for being angry I would be upset aswell when they said they wanted another 75 bucs .
Hopefully you can get things worked out soon and get him started on treatment soon if he needs it .

Yeah I don't blame my mom either. I think they were in it for money...I don't know....
