As many of you know I am going through a divorce so I haven't been around for a while.
With my current situation, I decided it was best to rehome a couple ferrets, so they can all still maintain the same level of care they were getting before. Zeus & Zora went to a friend of mine who was already planning on adopting a pair. It helped us both out. She didn't have to pay an adoption fee & I know they are in a good home. The day I took them over there, they spent almost three full hours checking out every inch of their new house. At one point, Zora climbed into her new cage & went to sleep. Zeus, on the other hand, was like a little kid, fighting to keep his eyes open in case he missed anything.
I was talking to Meli for a little bit about maybe taking Xander, but I have realized he & Ace are best buds & it would not be good to separate them.
The babies, Mystic & Majik, who are now 7 months old, have both been fixed, & are healing nicely. Majik has virtually no hormones left to deal with. Mystic, however, still gets kinda snotty with Xander & Zena now & then. She's getting better though. Majik was 4.7lbs the day he got fixed!
I am still working on small projects around the house. There have been no prospective buyers yet. If it does not sell by the time the divorce is final, I will maybe look into getting a roommate or two so my ex can move out. Most people do not want to live this far north though.
Here are some updated pics of my fuzzbutts. =-)
