Last night I was thinking.
It might be complicated to do. But some people have spare rooms in their house and some have spare closets.
A spare closet could be turned into a kind of, built into the house ferret cage if you worked hard enough. And Imagen how huge it'd be. Add some shelves and ramps. You could buy or make a screen or mesh door for it. Tile as flooring.
Then there is the issue of ventilation. But if you had a top shelf for storage alone then you could put a little fan up there blowing out and it will help with air circulation.
I think a closet could work, and be really cool if you tried hard enough.
