Just thought I'd show you some of my favorite pics of my four
Gaia is my only female.. and as such, she rules us all. She is sweet, when she wants to be or isn't feeling well. She has successfully, after many vet visits, expelled her Giardia and Cryptosporidium (No more butt wormies! Yay!). And, lastly, she is the head of our local Female ferret terrorist section . Mean as a devil and cute as a button, I tell ya.
Loki.. loki.. loki. My first ferret. The ferret that made me love ferrets. He is sweet and a tad needy . When he's out.. he follows me around like my shadow. If I pick up any of the other ferrets, he is at my feet wanting to be picked up instead. (A tad jealous mommy is touching someone else?? )
Brother to Bres. Came to us April this year with a TERRIBLE biting habit. Our relationship was sealed on our first meeting with blood. but, of course, I would have never left him with his old owner (They thought the biting was funny ) . We quickly got him to, at least, calm on the biting.. but he still has a thing for the vet and my husband every so often. He is a bit hesitant to change and wants to be the dominant. It took us 2 months to introduce our whole business before blood wasn't drawn by him. But.. suddenly a lightswitch turned on, he's mostly nice to the other ferrets now, and we're a big happy family And he's my other boy. He gives me kisses all the time!
Bres.. or as I call him. Mr. Bressy Pants. (don't ask ). Woden's brother, deaf, and we think a roan. He was 3.5 lbs of pure fat when he came to us. Within 2 months of play he's lost 1/2 a pound. He's a little bit of a big doofus, but we love him for it. Kris was also rather adamant he never wanted an albino.. so of course, Kris is the one Bres has bonded with. They have morning time every day where he sits on Kris' lap as he drinks coffee before going to work. Kris now loves albinos . Bres also has the longest fur I've ever seen on a ferret, which is also why we have to shave his bum so he stays clean when he poopies .
Thats my craziness. And I love them all so much
