Hey guys, it's been awhile! I've been off the forum and off raw food for 1.5 years because my ferrets have to live in my parent's basement while I live further away (living arrangement issues).
The problem is, I've lost one to insulinoma in the past year (violently seizures), and now my precious chubby boy, Jack has it. I couldn't feel guiltier. They're on a mix of zupreem, wellness, innova, the best mix of evil kibble, (in my mind).
By the way, for those who may not remember me, all of my babies were on a raw meaty bones diet successfully, and they still enjoy it.
I'm hoping to do surgery on him. The problem I'm facing is, with them not living with me, I can only guarantee that I can get to them 1 time a day (my grandma left me her house- so its free, a house, but no pets, that's why I'm stuck).
Knowing that I can only go there only once a day, I have since forgotten if raw can be fed like that. (1x a day- can it sit out that long? I thought it could...)
Another question is, if raw isn't going to be possible, and likely, it won't, can you refresh my memory on Wysong/freeze dried options?
And, if you guys can, please insert "what would you do" comments.
