Does anyone know of a guide or have some pictures on how to connect two FN142 side by side? I'm thinking of ordering a second one so I can keep everyone in one cage at night. Right now they roam free and I'm having more problems with "accidents" (right next to the dang litterbox none the less) so in the interest of saving some of my sanity I thought it might be a good idea. I've seen pictures before but I'm not a very handy person and I don't know how to go about it. I'd like to find out before I go through with ordering another 200 dollar cage if I can handle doing it myself or not Also do you think that would be enough room for night time with 15 ferrets in it? They mostly sleep in one giant pile anyway so I figure it would be okay. I could let them out in their room during the day when I'm not home.

The pics I've seen, if you don't want to cut the FN's, are simply leaving out the two walls on one section of the cage(either upper or lower), and zip tying them together.

A more solid way, what I did was copy the bar that goes directly above where the wheels go. Use those bars, there are 8 of them, and they are coated with a paint that is not toxic to fuzzies. You have to drill holes in 2 of them to match the wire under the pans. Then take the copied ones, you can use 1/2 inch steel tubing, or if you don't know someone who can weld, you can use dowels to replace the ones you stole from the bottom shelf. You just have to drill holes in 4 of them so the shelf fits in. If I am not making sense, I can post some pictures if you like. I used metal brackets I found at Canadian Tire to bolt the 2 cages together.

Im trying to picture how that would work because if I leave off a panel there will be a gap. Anyone have any pictures? I really dont want to cut it if possible.
