I feed freeze dried. Every day, I leave the following in my ferret's bowl: wysong arch chicken and beef, Stella and chewies lamb, duck duck goose and beef. Also leave a few tiny pieces of wysong dream treats either chicken, beef or pheasant. Should I just put ONE type of meat in his bowl each day and then rotate the different meats? I read something on here that single source meats are better?

That's called getting all your proteins at once It's easier to track if there are problems that's all. If you ferret has a sensitivity to a protein source and you feed all your sources at once it's very difficult to tell if the problem is one or the other protein source. You are hydrating all that dried food right? ciao

He gets soupies at night with taurine etc but the rest of the day has dry freeze dried in his bowl. He drinks water when he eats it though so I assume he's making his own mushy wet raw food in his stomach. No dehydration issues so far.
