so this morning i fed her new batch of soup which was 1\2 tsp of her kibble some olive oil chicken babyfood chicken broth and a piece of cooked chicken. shes been eating it so im guessing it has no effect on her that i took away most of the kibble so im guessing tonights soup will be no kibble or tommorrow morning soup will be no kibble?

Awesome! Go ahead and try no kibble tonight and see how she does, if she won't take it. If she won't take it you can always add a sprinkling of kibble to it, but I think she is getting the idea that soupies won't poison her even if it changes its taste a little! Once she is eating the kibble free soup she'll be past the first big step - you are getting closer!

so my dad got me a new laptop so im def going to be able to add updates to you alot more frequent finally lol
but i have some good and some bad news i did make some new soup it was made up of some cooked chicken breast meat and some raw chicken i then of course added the other ingrediants and gave it to her she just sniffed it i was like oh no lol
but then i remembered how you told me i could sprinkle some of the kibble in it so i did crunch up some kibble not alot then she did start licking it and eating a bit but then she went up to her room so im guessing shes not hungry even though she hasnt ate since 11 30 am which is weird so do i put kibble in her cage for tonight or leave the soup in there?

A tiny bit is progress. The missing baby food on top of the raw was probably too big of a change for her. Now we just need to go back to where you were - get some baby food and mix it in with the soupies. Keep a tiny tiny amount of raw in there and we will increase it slowly while we decrease the baby food and cooked chicken, just like we did with the kibble.

Yaaaay! Congrats on passing Big Step number two! When are you leaving kibble in her cage and for how long? We want to start to phase that out entirely and begin moving up with the raw. We will gradually make the soup thicker, then start adding tiny tiny chunks. This is the hardest part as far as timing goes because you want there to be a few hours of not eating kibble before she gets raw as if she eats kibble right before getting raw she could potentially get a belly ache. At the same time though, until she is consistently eating a good amount of the soupies, you don't want to not leave the kibble in there for her. I think you will be able to remove it entirely very soon though. I can't wait for the morning's update!

sorry its not a morning update lol i just got out of class and i ran home to put in some soup for maddie and to update you. i took the kibble out last night and she hasnt had any either this morning she has been eating her soup with no problem i think she really likes the baby food because i did the exact same thing as last time but i just didnt have any baby food and she wouldnt eat it but this morning and last night i had no cooked chicken just raw and the turkey and turkey broth baby food and she ate it all. i have been trying not to give her any type of kibble except the last few days since i couldnt get any baby food i had to leave it in there but right now she doesnt have it unless you suggest after she finish eating her soup i should put the kibble back in.
for tonights soup what should i do?

That's ok - I woke up late and had to rush off to class anyways. Awesome awesome awesome! You guys are doing so great! Ok so keep feeding her the soupies with no kibble and just be sure that she gets fresh soup morning and night, and maybe in the afternoon if she eats it all up in the morning and is still hungry. For tonight's soup go ahead and try making it a little thicker than she is used to. For now keep the baby food in and soon we will remove that the same way we did with the kibble. Tonight though lets try thick soup. Not too thick, but thicker than she has been eating.
